Fredy FRANZUTTI

Italian choreographer of agile eclecticism, among the best known and appreciated in Italy and abroad, guest of various internationally prestigious companies, in 1995 he founded the "Balletto del Sud" today considered one of the best Italian art companies. He creates, for the company he directs, a repertoire of 45 shows, and also for the "Bolscioj" Theater in Moscow, for the Rome Opera Theater (6 different productions upon invitation of Carla Fracci), for the Opera Theater of Sofia (of which he is resident choreographer from 2019 to 2021), for the Monte Carlo Opera, Bilbao, Tirana, Magdeburg and for various Rai Uno events such as the dances of the 2004 New Year's Concert broadcast by the Teatro La Fenice in Venice in Eurovision and for other national broadcasters. He takes care of the opera dances of productions created in France, Spain, Russia and numerous in Italy, among which we remember those at the ROF in Pesaro, at the Baths of Caracalla (Aida), at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, at the Bellini in Catania, at the Petruzzelli in Bari and many others. Carla Fracci, Lindsay Kemp, Vladimir Vassiliev dance choreographies by him. He combines his activity as a choreographer with that of an author and director and creates shows with voice and dance involving actors and conductors from the national scene. He directs the short film “If this is a man” with Michele Placido; the opera “La Sonnambula” for the Teatro d'Opera de La Coruña. He directed and choreographed the popular opera "800" with Franco Battiato, "La Fanciulla del West", at the Teatro Politeama Greco in Lecce and for the musical comedy "Mille Lire al Mese" by Maurizio Costanzo for the Teatro Parioli in Rome. In recent years he continued his activity as director of the Balletto del Sud and as guest choreographer.

Direttore e Coreografo Balletto del Sud (Lecce - Italia)

Balletto del Sud is the most important dance production organization in southern Italy. The company, directed since 1995 by the Italian choreographer Fredy Franzutti, has changed the perception of dance in the city of Lecce and Puglia. The permanent staff is made up of 28 elements - coming from all over the world - capable of alternating in the main roles. The Southern Ballet has a varied repertoire of 47 works ranging from philological reconstruction projects, to creative reinterpretations of the classics, to productions created by Franzutti in his own language.The multiple tours, in Italy and abroad, include important theaters and festivals for a total of around 100 shows each year. The commitment is realized, in the territory of belonging, through annual projects such as: The School at the Theatre, Dance Itinerary and The Dance Seasons. Since 2000 it has also been a professional training centre. The activity is enriched by collaborations with orchestras, composers, musicians and directors, set designers, costume designers, actors, presenters and entertainment personalities who have contributed to the success recognized by critics and the audience.

Gianni ATTIMONELLI

By the age of 12 years old he started the courses at La Scala Ballet School in Milan under the direction of Annamaria Prina until 2006 and since 2007 under the direction of Frederic Olivieri, having as teacher Leonid Nikonov. In May 2008 he received his diploma at La Scala Ballet School in ballet and contemporary dancing. From August 2008 till June 2012 he worked in the National Theatre of Brno under the direction of Lenka DÅ™imalova. From August 2012 till 2019 he worked as demisolo dancer in the Czech National Ballet in Prague under the direction of Petr Zuska till 2017 and later on under the direction of Filip Barankiewicz. From 2015 he started to work as guest ballet master in professional schools and ballet companies. From 2019 he joined the Laterna Magika as dancer and as teacher under the direction of Pavel Knolle and from 2021 of Radim Vizvary. From September 2020 he joined the National Theater Moravian Silesian as ballet master and Art Director Assistant, under the direction of Lenka DÅ™imalova. He also has experiences as choreographer for some shows for young choreographers, ballet competitions and for different kinds of events and he has also experience as member of the jury in national and international ballet competitions.

Ballet Master National Theatre Moravian Silesian Ballet Company

(Ostrava - Repubblica Ceca)

The tradition of the NDM ballet ensemble has been made for a hundred years, making it one of the oldest ballet companies in the Czech Republic. During this time, eighteen renowned personalities have succeeded as the artistic director of the ballet company. Each year and on a regular basis, the ballet company of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre cooperates with highly appreciated home and foreign guest artists, tutors, and choreographers, like Youri Vámos (Hungary), Krzysztof Pastor (Poland), Itzik Galili (Israel), Paul Chalmer (Canada), Johan Inger (Sweden), and others. The repertoire has included unique choreographies by world-renowned authors such as JiÅ™í Kylián. The company normally acts in Ostrava and in tours around the world.

Lotte SIGH

Affiliated with The Royal Danish Ballet (2004) as choreographer, teacher and censor as well as Artistic Director of Copenhagen Copenhagen Contemporary Dance School and Copenhagen International Dance Festival. She has been commissioned to choreograph for numerous international institutions, companies, theaters, festivals, museums, films, TV, outdoor city events and operas. Works have been created for among others the Royal Danish Ballet, National Library of Denmark, Copenhagen Light Festival, Danish Center for Architecture, Pantera Chamber Ballet in Russia, the National Gallery of Denmark, the Dance Company of the Region Theatre West in Sweden, D-CAF in Cairo and Dies De Dansa in Barcelona, Campnorr in Copenhagen, KHIO in Oslo, the University of Stavanger, the H.C. Andersen Festival in Denmark and Intradance in Russia. Her work is deeply rooted in a sense of wonder; a feeling of awe and amazement over the world around us. Her point of departure is often inspired by the traces the world leaves in human beings and the relationships that occur between us as individuals and between groups in society. Always in search of the different collective subconsciousness, her works always seeks to be imaginatively illustrated and interpreted in close collaboration with other artists. Deputy Director of Undergraduate Courses at London Contemporary Dance School, London, as well as a contemporary dance artist, theatre maker and performer. He is a part-time Ph.D. student at the Centre for Dance Research (C-DaRE) at Coventry University. He has created and toured dance and theatre works, both nationally and internationally, funded by the Arts Council England. Josh’s research interests are focused on choreographic practices, risk taking, Dance Theatre, improvisation and collaborative practices. He is an assistant editor for the Intellect Choreographic Practices Journal and has been working in a variety of teaching and leadership roles in Higher Education for the last 10 years..

Insegnante e coreografa, è' invitata in qualità di membro di giuria in Concorsi Internazionali, oltre che come docente a seminari e workshop in Italia, Russia, Brasile, Malta, Grecia, Olanda, Ucraina e Spagna.

In questi anni di insegnamento, si dedica a tempo pieno alla formazione dei giovani danzatori, sia nella danza classica che nel contemporaneo. È in quest’ultimo che riesce a concentrare la sua esperienza, ed il suo stile è una commistione di correnti, generi ed ispirazioni, spaziando dalle danze etniche al contemporaneo più puro, dando vita ad un linguaggio completo, capace di adattarsi ai vari messaggi. I suoi lavori, interpretati esclusivamente da allieve della scuola, vengono rappresentati in molti eventi e spesso ottiene pregevoli risultati anche in ambito internazionale, nel corso di eventi ai quali partecipano gruppi provenienti da tutto il mondo.
